Well..
Well here we are, the last day of our honeymoon and if I’m honest it wasn’t what we both dreamed of. It’s been windy all week, rain now and then and although we have had sun it wasn’t the week chilling in the sun we thought it would be. Still we’ve both enjoyed ourselves and we have had lots of fun and relaxation which, after the wedding and the stress of everything, was what we needed so it’s still worked out well. The staff at the resort have been wonderful, helpful and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
Today is pretty much a chill out day, I’ve found out I can borrow movies from the reception at no charge. I watch Final Fantasy: Spirits Within last night and right now I’ve got We Were Soldiers in my DVD drive. I plan to watch a couple more at least if I have the DVD I can watch whenever and know I’ve got a movie I want to watch. Thing with their movie channel is that they’ve obviously got it scheduled and I don’t always want to watch what they’re showing. So now I can watch what I want I know I’m less likely to get bored in the evenings.
Oh, the fun thing about writing this entry now is I can mention the fact that for tonight’s dinner I’ve ordered a bouquet of flowers for Cati to signify our last meal here. Ok so we do have breakfast tomorrow but it wouldn’t really be noticed nor probably appropriate. Either way I’m looking forward to her reaction, no doubt I may mention here later. I wonder what food will be on the menu tonight? I’ve been quite adventurous this holiday as most of the food served isn’t what I’d normally order but I’ve tried them and, on the whole, I’ve liked them which makes me kinda proud.
Well, best go and see if the guy has finished sorting out our room so I can watch the movie someplace where it isn’t windy.
