Instagr.am!

So I’ve been messing around with Instagram for a wee while now and I really quite like it. Essentially all it is, is an app that you take photos with and the alter it with pre-loaded effects as the picture for this post shows. That was a shot I took on a walk near where I work and adding the effects was quite fun.

You see I’m not Photoshop whiz nor do I have the time to learn it or it’s free equivalent GIMP so something like Instagr.am is great as I can create really cool looking photos to share without having to learn a whole program to do so. I also quite like the community built around it. You can follow people and see what they’re posting and comment on them etc and people can follow you. It’s sort of like Tumblr but purely for pictures. If you want to follow me I’m on there as pntaylor.
